Two Tottenham youngsters spotted in first team training ahead of Burnley game after returning from successful loan spells

Alfie Devine and Ashley Phillips have returned from their successful loans at Plymouth and have been spotted in training.

Spurs will host Burnley this Saturday before they host the current Premier League champions.

In preparation of the game against Vincent Kompany’s side, both Devine and Phillips were spotted in the first-team session at the Hotspur Way.

The duo spent the second half of the season on loan at the Championship side, and made quite an impression, prompting interest from Plymouth Argyle in retaining them for another season.

Both of them made significant contributions during their time with Plymouth Argyle, playing pivotal roles in securing the club’s escape from relegation by a narrow one-point margin.

It was recently reported that the club’s director of football, Neil Dewsnip has confirmed their desire to renew the loan deals for both the players, indicating ongoing discussions with Tottenham regarding their potential availability for the upcoming season.

As discussions regarding their potential loan moves for the upcoming season continue, Tottenham will weigh their options carefully, considering whether to loan the duo back to a Championship side or further enhance their development by sending them to a Premier League club.
