Manchester United great Andy Cole inducted to Premier League Hall of Fame
Press Association

Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole was honoured at a celebration event marking his inductions into the Premier League Hall of Fame on Tuesday night.

Cole and ex-Chelsea captain John Terry were confirmed as the latest inductees last week, and they joined former England left-back Ashley Cole who was voted in earlier this year.

The trio posed for photos and received medallions engraved with their names at the event in London, which was attended by former Premier League strikers and podcast duo Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker.

Each inductee selected for the Hall of Fame gets to select a charity to receive a £10,000 donation from the Premier League.

As things stand, Cole is the Premier League’s fourth-highest-ever goalscorer and he was the first player to score five in a single match. He also won five league titles during his time at Old Trafford – as well as two FA Cups and the Champions League.

It’s about time Cole was added to the Premier League Hall of Fame.
