The Texas Rangers routed the Houston Astros 11-4 on Monday night to punch their ticket to the World Series for the first time since 2011.
At the center of the victory was ALCS MVP Adolis Garcia, who went 4-for-5 with five RBI and three runs scored. He hit two home runs in the win.
With his huge performance, he's put himself in all kinds of baseball history.

Damon's multi-home run game punctuated the Red Sox comeback over the Yankees in that 2004 season. For the playoffs, the 30-year-old Garcia is hitting .327 with seven home runs and 20 RBI.

So Garcia is on track to break that over the course of the World Series. The Rangers don't know who they'll play yet in the World Series but it will be either the Philadelphia Phillies or the Arizona Diamondbacks.

This regular season, Garcia hit .245 with 39 home runs and 107 RBI. He also stole nine bases and posted an .836 OPS.
The World Series begins on Friday night.
